Senator McCain Flip Flips on "Don't Ask, Don't Tell"

When Senator McCain was running for president in Oct. 2006, he said he would respect what the military leaders said about "Don't Ask, Don't Tell."

Now, military leaders are saying "Don't Ask, Don't Tell" is not working and it should be changed.

Senator McCain no longer has the same stance on the issue. Hhhm, could it be that this is due to the fact that the Democrats are in power? Perhaps it's because when he was campaigning, he would say just about anything to win?

Can Senator McCain's daughter please tell him about youtube? Everything you say and do will and can be held against you on the internet...

Watch the Youtube video of Senator McCain flip flopping on "Don't Ask, Don't Tell."

Thanks to Bush Admin, America Being Blamed for Global Economic Crisis

The Bush Administration has taken America to another level of embarrassment. Not only are hostile leaders pointing the blame at America for the global financial meltdown (didn't expect anything less). Our allies are blaming us too.

I don't know anyone that is doing well economically. Do you?

Watch the video and see what other world leaders have to say about America's current financial crisis and it's effect on the global community.

No Parking for Obama Supporters?

This man owns a parking lot and has posted a sign that states that Obama supporters with Obama stickers on their car...can't park there!

This is a violation of FREEDOM of SPEECH. It's also discrimination. I would boycott the parking lot and put him out of business...

Senator McCain supporters like this one are the type that create division in this country. We need unity in the critical situation America's in, not division.

Is the Campaign Taking a Toll on Senator McCain?

Is the campaign wearing Senator McCain down? Before you answer the question, watch this video and listen to Senator McCain.

This is what Mccain actually said:
"You and I together will confront the $10 trillion debt that the federal government has run up, and balance the federal budget by the end of my term in office. Across this country this is the agenda I've set before my fellow prisoners, and the same standards of clarity and candor must now be applied to my opponent. "

Watch this video. It seems that Senator McCain has a difficult time remembering what he has said in the past.

Could it be that Senator McCain was so tired, he forgot where Spain is located? Did he have a Sarah Palin moment?

Senator McCain forgot how many homes he owned?

McCain's campaign aids in violating this American's right to FREEDOM OF SPEECH.

I don't know about you, but I don't appreciate being called a prisoner by Senator McCain. I also take offense in being referred to as Joe Six Pack by Sarah Palin. As a Christian conservative, I choose not to drink. I find it hard to understand why a man that own 12-13 homes can call another man that owns ONE...an elitist. Another real important issue is knowledge. He's either not aware of Spain's location or their political philosophy or their nation's leader. This is a problem, a really big one...especially since the person that whispered in his ear...Joe Lieberman will not be there to help him. Sarah Palin knows even less.

God help us all...

Should Sarah Palin's Newsweek Cover Take Center Stage During Our Economic Crisis?

Sarah Palin's Newsweek cover

Many conservatives are in an uproar because of Newsweek's cover of Sarah Palin seen here.

Could it be that this is just another tactic to distract the public from the real issues?
America awoke to more horrible economic news, with the announcement of the economic woes of the markets in Russia, UK and Japan. The Federal Reserve decreased interest rates by half a percent. Is this magazine cover newsworthy? The Cover Story in Newsweek The Palin Problem discusses the problem Gov. Palin has had answering questions during the few interviews she's granted. They urge readers to look beyond blind allegiance and look at the whole picture. The article in Newsweek is meant to make one really consider the question, "Could Sarah Palin really run America, if something happened to McCain?" If this person was interviewing for CEO of your corporation, would you hire them? No? Then how could you hire them to run America?

Why are Sarah Palin supporters upset?
According to Andrea Tantoros (Republican media consultant), it was a "slap in the face". She believes that the close up of Sarah Palin on the cover was a mean spirited jab at the vp candidate. She felt the picture should have been airbrushed just like the way it's done for celebrities. Watch the FoxNews clip on Sarah Palin's Newsweek cover.

Is Sarah Palin a celebrity or a politician?
According to Lindsay Lohan, there is a difference. This is what Lindsay Lohan wrote about Sarah Palin on her myspace blog:
Oh, and...Hint Hint Pali Pal- Don't pose for anymore tabloid covers, you're not a celebrity, you're running for office to represent our, your, my COUNTRY!

Didn't McCain's campaign criticize Obama's popularity and "celebrity like audience"?
Here's the ad that McCain's campaign aired criticizing Obama for his "star quality".

It doesn't make sense. The McCain campaign criticizes Obama for his popularity and mocks his celebrity like crowds, on the other hand they are trying to elevate Sarah Palin to cover model status. You can't have it both ways.

The Republican Double Standard

This email was in my inbox today. I don't know who wrote it or where it came from. (If you do, please send me the info. so that I can give proper credit.) I had to share it. I just had this same conversation with a group of people. It doesn't make sense. Read it and see what I mean.

The Republicans have made it all about the spin.

*I'm a little confused. Let me see if I have this straight*.....

If you grow up in Hawaii (isn't that our 5oth state?) raised by your grandparents, you're 'exotic, different.' Grow up in Alaska eating mooseburgers, and shooting/murdering wildlife for sport from an airplane, you are a quintessential American story.

If your name is Barack you couldn't be a regular American. Name your kids Willow, Trig and Track, you're a maverick.

If you graduate from Harvard law School then you are unstable but if you attend 5 different small colleges -including the University of Hawaii! - before graduating, you're well grounded.

If you spend 3 years as a brilliant community organizer, become the first black President of the Harvard Law Review, create a voter registration drive that registers 150,000 new voters, spend 12 years as a Constitutional Law professor, spend 8 years as a State Senator representing a district with over 750,000 people, become chairman of the state Senate's Health and Human Services committee, spend 4 years in the United States Senate representing a state of 13 million people while sponsoring 131 bills and serving on the Foreign Affairs, Environment and Public Works and Veteran's Affairs committees, you don't have any real leadership experience.

If your total resume is: local weather girl, 4 years on the city council and 6 years as the mayor of a town with less than 7,000 people, 20 months as the governor of a state with only 650,000 people, then you're qualified to become the country's second highest ranking executive.

If you have been married to the same woman for 19 years while raising 2 beautiful daughters, all within Protestant churches, you're not a real Christian.

If you cheated on your first wife with a rich heiress, and left your disfigured wife and married the heiress the next month, you're a Christian.

If you advocate the teaching of responsible, age appropriate sex education, including how to help little children escape from sex offenders and child molestors, you are eroding the fiber of society. If , while governor, you staunchly advocate abstinence only, with no other option in sex education in your state's school system while your unwed teen daughter ends up pregnant, you're very responsible.

If your wife is a Harvard graduate lawyer who gave up a position in a prestigious law firm to work for the betterment of her inner city community, then gave that up to raise a family, your family's values don't represent America's. If you're husband is nicknamed 'First Dude', with at least one DWI conviction and no college education, who didn't register to vote until age 25 and once was a member of a group that advocated the secession of Alaska from the USA, your family is extremely admirable.

If you devote your life to making our country a better place for all Americans, not just a privileged few, then you are not for change. But if you are under investigation for getting people fired because they can't get along with your family, then you are a candidate with 'integrity.'

OK, much clearer now.

The Truth About the Double Standard Regarding Sarah Palin

It's evident. With the conservatives, the same rules don't apply to everyone.

What did Karl Rove consider "experienced" (before Sarah Palin was selected)?

What did O'Reilly say about teen pregnancy, before Bristol Palin's teen pregnancy was revealed?

What was the GOP's answer to dealing with sexism, when Hillary was the victim?

What did Sarah Palin say about being targeted by the media...when it was happening to Hillary?

Watch the video for the unbelievable truth!

John McCain, Sarah Palin Parody...

This was on Twitter. Thanks fussypants!

Jackie Mason Calls Senator McCain a Liar!

Watch this video blog (vlog) by Jackie Mason about Senator McCain. Jackie Mason was extremely offended when Senator McCain:
"He blatantly lied about what Romney said about timetables in Iraq, and he got away with it."

Here's the video of Jackie Mason ranting about Senator McCain. Pretty unbelievable...

Do Senator McCain and President Bush Have Different Political Views?

It seems that Senator McCain attempts to distance himself from the president more and more each day. Senator McCain wants voters to believe he holds different views from the current administration. He also wants voters to believe he is the right man to lead the USA out of it's current critical state.

Does Senator McCain really hold different views from President Bush? Let's take a quick look at some very important issues that effect us and how each man wants to handle it. Let's look at each man's history.

Five Things We Learn from Jim Silante's Prayer at the GOP Dinner

Watch Jim Silante's Prayer at GOP Dinner-May29-2008
Watch this priest turned politician to understand my rant.

Leave it to the GOP to turn a "prayer" into a political rant. Hello? Just because he told everyone to bow their heads in prayer, doesn't mean it was a prayer. The words he arrogantly uttered were in the form of a speech. He was using notes. I attended Catholic School from 1-12. I became a born again Christian in 1991. I've sat in pews for years. I know the difference between a speech and a prayer.

Here are a few things Jim Silante showed Americans:
1. Jim Silante and the GOP are clueless about the issues faced in the US especially urban areas. Why would you mock the idea that this country needs change? This country does need change. Don't know why? Watch these two videos and you'll get a clear picture.
Why West Virginians won't vote for Senator Obama.
Perhaps people with a little more education have different views, right? We would all hope so. Here's Liza Trotta on FoxNews remarking that Osama and Obama should both be killed.

2. Jim Silante admitted : "There is a decent chance that" Barack Obama may be the next president of the United States. Guess what? You just confirmed that Barack Obama is a threat to your candidate.
3. Jim Silante and his party will use any means necessary, even "prayer" to get their desired results. Smear tactics and fear mongering will not work on everyone. Many people do their homework and research the truth about the countless email that circulate spreading lies about Senator Obama.

4. Jim and the GOP must know many people aren't drinking the Kool Aid. With the huge spike in voter registration and primary turnouts they have to accept people are actually looking beyond their own lives and awakening to their social responsibility and power.

5. Jim Silante and his party are out of touch. Here's one of your biggest supporters proving that GOP supporters are COMPLETELY OUT OF TOUCH with the minorities and poor of America.
Bill O'Reilly is shocked that a black restaurant is just like every other restaurant in NY. No, really....

Thanks for the "prayer". It was a real eye opener...
